chinese new year was here and it is gone just in the blink of an eye. now, i here blogging, after spending the past 4 days in malaysia, is still wondering where my chinese new year is now... it all seemed like a dream, and after i opened my eyes this morning, i am once again back into the reality world. 4 days gone in a flash...
it had been a rather eventful chinese new year. lots of things happened, both good and bad, or should i just say unfortunate? ok, i started my chinese new year early on friday. i when into malaysia and got to my grandmother's house at about 7 pm. i then started barbecuing!! had lots of fun and slept earlyt at 12am. ok, this was only the beginning.
my cousins and relatives came the next day, about 20 of them. ate at a restaurant which served food of MODERATE quality but the sequence was all wrong. they served the yu sheng first followed by the cereal prawn O.o. the yam or something was next, and then sharks fin! gosh!
sharks fin was the forth dish!! what followed was things that you would not want to know, so i should skip them. went home and got red packets!! i then played at my cousins house and slept at about 3.30am.
the next day, i went to play billard, pool, snooker, or whatever you call it. played for the first time!!!! it was quite fun, but equally hard to master too. some things happened later on which i would not like to elaborate on the night passed in the blinking of an eye and i slept at about 3am. the next day which was the day before i am here writing was quite boring as almost all of my cousins had returned back home to singapore. something memorable was the playing of soccer in the evening....with a dog!! my grandma's dog. he was quite excited at first but grew tired later on...
this is roughly an overview of my chinese new year. for more information, please visit my sister's blog at 92minutes.blogspot.com.

hi there, had not been blogging for the past 10 days or so. so, chinese new year is just round the corner!! yeah!! well, i am already in the festive mood. for this week. had nothing much to say about. ok, i had a literature and a chinese compo test today. it was relatively.....fine. had a class gathering on saturday the 21st. played some soccer with my friends from primary 6. used the field for the 1st time in almost 4 years after a nod from the principle. earlier on, before i am right here blogging,i had a chat with someone on msn whom i THOUGHT knew me but his or her identity still remains unknown to me.

me: hi, who are you???
the unknown: sze yuan right,i am your ass.monitor
me: ass monitor....
me: do we have such a post???
me:ok,: tell me your name maybe i will remember....
the unknown: which school are u from??
me: hwa chong
the unknown: sorry
the unknown is now Offline[10:27:18 PM]
me: .............

her nickname was actually NYGH rocks or something. does it mean that she thought that i was a girl!??! she/he did not know i am in hwa chong though she/he knew my name??!?! i guess that she must had saw my name and email address on somewhere, maybe a class list, and matched the name and email address to the wrong gender or school. and to make this clear, my class does not even have an ass monitor!!ok, this is more and more like literature, PEEP....
DEAR UNKNOWN, please make your status known if you by any chance chance upon this blog so as to enlighten the still unclear me. this willl aid me tremendously in.............. understanding whatever it is that is unknown to me about you. anyway, just proclaim your indentity.

thats all for now, goodbye..

ok, just finished my work. well, today was a long day, came back at 630 and reached home at 710. had to write a short story on ..........ok, too lazy to say. anyway, i was supposed to write a short story and i had so much to write about that i had to write a relatively long piece of work. then when i was about to finish writing, mr quek said, normally, those essays that are too long do not get high marks.... stunned....gosh........
wanted to play soccer during recess but did not get a chance to. seniors were playing=i do not want to get involved. ok, lame...the lessons after recess were fine, neither too extreme on both sides of the negative-positive scale. and then, after school, we had the individualised research studies(IRS) briefing, in which two sec 2 seniors presented their works which got to the finals. and then, after this, i intended to play soccer again. one again, seniors were playing at the street soccer court, i turned to the field, only to see a group of abput 25 pupils chasing a ball. imagine that, all chasing around the field for a ball. if not that i saw that they were using their legs to kick the ball, i might had mistaken that as a game of catching.O.o
had 3rd language and had listening. the front part was filled with supposedly crap to all the students........ ok, that were instructions....in japanese. miraculously, i got only one wrong!! i did make some guesses though, but they were intelligent guesses. i went back home after japanese and ate, did home work, watched tv(entertaiment u see),and then home work again.
ok, this is roughly what i did today. going to sleep soon..bye!

hihi, here again, once again. this week had been a rather fast one. probably due to the hari raya holiday and the one day consortium camp, so i had only 3 working days. well, any one who passes by here can please comment?? okok, i know this blogskin is like so ugly, but will find time to change it. getting used to this new hci environment, and the teachers here are also very nice. hope it remains like that for the whole year. the LAN in hci is so cool. EMB, FTP, IVLE, VLE, etc. WoW, so cool. i have an essay and chi wk sheets for home work. while, i guess its still ok compared to the later part of the year. and some news, i had been elected monitor. while, i have some mixed feelings about it. should i by happy, should i be sad? ok, guess i should let nature take its course. wahahaha. i ran 1.6km yesterday, and finished it in 8min and 39sec. well, improvement from p6, but i do not know how i can manage 2.4 km. 6 rounds, gosh, even at 4 rounds i was like.............6 rounds???/ seems that if i fail, my days will be like hell. ok, thats exaggerating, or at least my pe lessons will be like hell, running 2.4km every lesson while others are playing soccer?!?!? argh...i MUST pass the 2.4km no matter how. well, pass will do, but to do that, i must sure improve, but how?????

well, todaywe had our one day consortium camp which was quite...er......ok. in fact, it it was fun. i was like so tired in the morning that i did not want to get involved in anything, but things changed some time later. we had the ice breakers early in the camp, which was boring. i do think we should not have it between only our class but it should be between the whole consortium. anyway, we would have enouh time to interact with our class later right?? but that can't be said for sure for the other classes. then we did........er......yah, the teambuilding games. we had some really fun activities like tug of war and dog and bone. for the tug of war, not to boast, we won quite easily. we needed only like <1min to win. while, it was partially due to our teamwork but most importantly, it was our sizes, or should i say the opponants' sizes that benefitted as the most. overall, the teambuilding games, did reach its objective, which is to bind the team together. but for certain parts of it, it seemed more like team splitting games. hahah. well, later we had our amazing race, in the school compound of course. wel, the amazing race was like it did not have a certain way of playing it. why do i say that????ok, the activities are at each station was planned by ourselves or shuld i say by our buddies??/anyway, u can influence your buddy to get the activity u want or you can just say a stupid idea and he will just take it. take for example when we were at a station, we were required to make out an activity using balloons and ping pong balls. one of my classmates suggested stuffing a ping pong ball into the balloon and blowing the balloon up(chances are that he was trying to be funny) and our buddy just accepted it. but surprisingly, our group managed it! we had a buddy who was like..er...not fond of running. while the whole group was running, he would simply lag behind. but nevermind, because the good thing was that we came in second for the amzing race! and the bad thing was that we were 2nd from behind-_-. the good thing was that we were not last! and the bad thing was that the other half of my class's group did not finish 1st. but last of all, and the most important thing of all, the good thing was that i had fun!!! ok, this indeed is important, but most important was that through this exercise, i do know my classmates better. i really appreciate the time and effort the sec 2 senios had spent to make this camp a success. so from the bottom of my heart, i would like to say a big thank you tp all the seniors!!!!!!!(ok, this is mushy, but bear with it, please)
